AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY HONORS KEN ESRIG, CHAIRMAN FOR DELRAY BEACH
RELAY FOR LIFE Esrig Chairs Event Two Years in a Row, Bringing in Over $200K
Boca Raton, FL (May 11, 2005) – The American Cancer Society honors Kenneth Esrig, local business leader and author, for raising $212,000 within a one year period. Esrig has served as Chairman for the Delray Beach Relay For Life for the past two years. The Delray Beach Relay For Life is one of four events that make up the South Palm Beach Community chapter which was named by the American Cancer Society, as one of the country’s top 10 community events in 2004.
The fundraiser was held at the American Heritage School, in Delray Beach and brought in thousands of supporters, participants from businesses, families, schools, churches and community organizations. “This event represents an amazing opportunity for our community to celebrate cancer survivors, and honor loved ones lost to the disease,” said Esrig. “The $212,000 raised from Delray Relay For Life will go toward creating valuable patient services, enhancing information access, cancer research, prevention and early detection.”
Relay For Life unites millions of people in thousands of communities nationwide. Every dollar raised makes a difference to people whose lives are touched by cancer. The event is designed to be a fun-filled overnight event that offers something for everyone, from the newly diagnosed, to caregivers and friends, to long-term survivors.

Dynamic Duo - Kenneth Esrig and Bob Stone Raise $225,000 for The American Cancer Society
Kenneth Esrig and Robert Stone were honored by the American Cancer Society for raising almost a quarter million dollars within a one year period. This dynamic duo joined forces to bring the Delray Beach Relay for life to the American Heritage School in April 2004 and in March 2005. Through their tireless efforts and commitment, they managed to bring in thousands of supporters, participants from families, churches, schools, businesses and community organizations that helped make Delray’s Relay For Life one of the most successful in the entire United States.

Ken Esrig Visits the Israel Sport Center for the Disabled
Ken Esrig visited the Israel Sport Center for the Disabled in Israel to give a one-hour emotivational seminar to more than 100 employees, caregivers and supporters. The center provides more than 20 different wheel-chair-sports activities for over 2000 children and adults. Rueven Heller, Sports Director for the Sport Center, met Esrig on a recent trip to Florida where he accompanied several young athletes participating in the 2004, International Special Olympics, in Miami. “Mr. Esrig has made a huge impression on us,” said Heller, “We are honored that he has accepted our invitation and has brought his powerful emotivational message to the members of our organization.”

Ken Esrig Brings Valentine's Hugs to The Palm Beach County Mental Health Association's Widowed Person's Support Group
Loneliness, sadness and depression are not the words Boca Raton resident and motivational speaker, Ken Esrig is willing to hear this Valentine’s holiday. Esrig is determined to make a difference in our community and is conducting free Emotivational Seminars at many local support group meetings, health association gatherings and community events. “It’s up to all of us to reach out to the lonely people in our community. By making them happy, we can all enjoy our own happiness a little bit more. My goal is to teach people how to use their emotions to fuel dreams of happiness.”

TO FEATURE NETWORKING STRATEGIE
Professionals looking for new ways to expand their networking
skills are encouraged to attend a very special fundraising
event to benefit the American Cancer Society's Delray Beach
Relay For Life. The event is Tuesday, November 30th from 5:30pm
to 8:30pm at the Pete Rose Ballpark Cafe in Boynton Beach.
Open to the public, this Ecademy Ltd. event will feature
Emote-ivational speaker and author, Ken Esrig, who is also
the chairperson for the Delray Beach Relay For Life.
Co-sponsoring the event, are Delray MRI and the Pete Rose
Ball Park Cafe. The event is $10 at the door and $7 for pre-registered
guests and Ecademy members, and includes complimentary hors
d'oeuvres. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the American
Cancer Society.
During the evening, attendees will learn networking skills
from Esrig, a highly successful CEO, who is touring the country
with his emotivational philosophies. The author of both Washing
Away the Pain and Inspirations of Love, Life and Loss, Esrig
is also a Leader of Ecademy's Florida East Coast Chapter.
Ecademy Ltd. is a London-based organization specializing in
the development of international e-commerce.
The Delray Beach Relay For Life takes place March 5, 2005.
Last year's Relay For Life event, also chaired by Esrig, raised
$93,000 for the American Cancer Society.
